


Dano originally came to use with a 1988 Honda Civic STD, this 4-speed transmission and powerless engine just wasn't getting the job done. We swapped out the old motor and replaced it with a D16Y8 sohc vtec engine with a 5 speed tranny. The wiring was all custom made by our talented installer Jer. We also painted the engine bay, scrubbed down and painted the engine block & valve cover, and completed a rear drum to disc brake conversion. We are currently working on a turbo setup for this vehicle, check back soon for new images and info!



Scott is family here at Down to Ground, we've completed a variety of upgrades for him! Scott's setup consist's of a B16a engine with HASport polished mounts holding it in place, a HASport shift linkage is providing the smooth shifts towards the ACT pressure plate & Competition Clutch stage 1 clutch kit. The AEM intake feed's into the Skunk2 throttle body, then continuing to smoothly flow into the Skunk2 intake manifold. An upgraded fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator provide plenty of fuel for combustion. The DC Sports header allows all the exhaust fumes to exit through the Skunk2 cat-back exhaust system. Keeping this setup cool is a polished Koyo radiator. Keeping this civic lowered is a set of Skunk2 pro series coilover/strut combo We also completed a rear drum to disc brake conversion, installed a pair of Tenzo racing seats and created a custom harness bar for the 4 point harness to attach to.



Even though Jeff lives over 900 miles away, he made the long drive here to Klamath Falls to have his engine swap completed by us. That goes to show you the level of commitment we have towards our work and our clients. Jeff's setup shows anything is possible at Down to Ground!
Current mods: JDM B16a, 5 speed LSD transmission, AEM cold air intake, DC Sports 4-1 one piece header, Avid motor mounts, Avid shift linkage, Avid stage 1 axles, Competition Clutch lightened flywheel, Competition Clutch Gravity series clutch kit, MSD super conductor plug wires, Custom 2.25" cat-back exhaust, Tenzo muffler, TEIN super street coilovers with TEIN upper pillow mounts, Progress Tech camber kit, Brembo cross drilled rotors, 17" TSW Fury rims, short shift kit, custom 1995 Acura Integra center console mod, Full Custom fiberglass stereo system install (JL Audio), and a Full Custom Caramel Leather interior.
A different shop originally completed his B20/VTEC swap HOWEVER he came to us unsatisfied with the results. He felt the previous shop took his money, did minimal work, and pushed him out the door. All Ryan wanted was to be able to pop his hood and be proud of what lay beneath. Well now that has been accomplished, not only did we complete his engine swap but we ordered and installed the following performance parts for him.
ZEX nitros kit, AEM fuel rail, filter, and fuel pressure regulator, Skunk2 throttle body, Skunk2 intake manifold, AEM intake, Koyo radiator, Skunk2 cat-back exhaust, Skunk2 Pro series coilover/struts, DC sports header, Competition Clutch stage 2 clutch kit, Competition clutch light weight flywheel.

Josh's 1991 civic Lx underwent it's surgery in sights of a JDM B16a with Avid mounts, linkage, and axles. A Competition clutch kit with lightened flywheel was also swapped in, and the AEM cold air intake & DC Sports header finish off this vehicle!
